Homestay

At St. Martha’s, we operate a very successful Homestay programme, where students live with local approved host families.

Homestay is a special experience for overseas students giving them a chance to broaden their cultural awareness. Vitally important in any career from Business to Medicine is the ability to communicate. Homestay gives the opportunity to become proficient at English and to communicate confidently with a range of audiences.  Girls leave St Martha’s with outstanding communication skills and results.

Our host families are carefully chosen, inspected and vetted by an enhanced CRB check and take the care of the girls seriously. Each host mother and father maintains a standard of care equal to that of any responsible parents. The school works in partnership with the host family to ensure that each girl’s stay is a happy and successful experience. For more information on Homestay accommodation please click here.

Boarding

St. Martha’s also offers a boarding option for the girls. We would suggest that they stay with a host family for the first year and then move into the boarding accommodation. For more information on boarding accommodation please click here.
