Student Council
The Council meets regularly and the various subcommittees meet independently to organise their respective initiatives.
The Council aims to improve student life at St Martha’s through open dialogue with its members underpinned by the democratic process.
Recent successes have included improvements to the girls’ toilets and ninety new larger lockers. As you can imagine this is a very dynamic forum where girls learn important life skills, such as communicating effectively within a group, respecting each others’ opinions, working collaboratively for the common good, and the commitment necessary to see their ideas to fruition when at first, the task at hand may seem insurmountable.
